Schirme sind bekannt für ihre Leichtigkeit und Schnelligkeit im Aufbau, aber nicht alle Schirm-Systeme sind gleich. Die zentrierte Schirmbefestigung der EL-Blitzgeräte ermöglicht eine symmetrische, optimale Ausleuchtung aller Elinchrom Schirme. Elinchrom Umbrella Deep Schirme werden unter Verwendung von 16 Fiberglas-Stäben hergestellt, um eine perfekte Kreisform zu erhalten. Die tiefe Bauform bietet die genaue Kontrolle über die Verbreitung des Lichts. Darüber hinaus können diese Schirme in "klappbare" Softboxen umgewandelt werden, indem man beispielsweise eine lichtdurchlässige Abdeckung zu einem silbernen Schirm hinzufügt oder eine silberne / schwarze Abdeckung zu einem lichtdurchlässigen Schirm. Viele weitere Optionen sind möglich. Der silberne Schirm bietet ein knackigeres Licht, das gerichteter ist.
