Der RØDE DeadCat VMP+ ist ein besonderer Fellwindschutz für das VideoMic Pro+ für Tonaufnahmen in windiger Umgebung.
Der Mikrofon-Windschutz DeadCat VMP+ dient der Verringerung von Windgeräuschen bei Außenaufnahmen. Er enthält eine innere Umhüllung aus offenporigem Schaum und eine Außenschicht aus akustisch transparentem, künstlichem Fell. Ein Gummisockel verhindert, dass Windgeräusche von der Rückseite zum offenen Bereich des Mikrofons gelangen. Gleichzeitig sorgt dieser für sicheren Sitz speziell des Mikrofonmodells VMP+.
